Community Assembly of the British Isles

The Future Is Us!

CABI is the Community Assembly of the British Isles.

The Community Assembly of the British Isles is an association of like-minded people who have decided to unite together and build their own future.

The Future Is Us!

We need to think about what we want our future to be and join together to make it happen.

We Are The Future! by Nick Kitchen, Community Assembly of Lincolnshire

I have a few questions for us to ask about things that are happening around us and the future we would like to see. It's easy to be distracted from these important questions but it's only when we have a clear idea of what we do and don't want in this world, that we can confidently and unanimously unite and take action.

I hope that by asking such questions and searching deeply for the answers, you will arrive at the same place as us where you feel inspired to take action and join us if you haven't already done so. How do you see your future? Do you see a future where we have the freedom to do the many things that we love and take for granted?

Or do you see a future where your freedoms are being constantly eroded and taken away? What do you see happening right now? Do you see the curbs on our rights to free speech where we cannot disagree with those who assume control or exert control over us. Should it be possible for others to choose what we can say, think, do or not do? What about your right to travel freely? Do you agree to being told where you can go and when you can go anywhere? Do you think we were born into this beautiful world as slaves for others to do what they want with us. I know I don't ... do you? What about being increasingly controlled?

As we navigate through this quite frankly sh** merry-go-round of narratives and exercises that keep us under the boot of control, do you support these people and organisations who don't know us and assume rank and authority over us? Do you want to just carry on as you are doing?

Or do you want to decide what the future will look like for all of us? What are we to do? As individuals, we have the right to choose what is best for us. As individuals we are free to exercise our own free will which means we have a voice and the right to use it when, where and how we feel it is correct. There are many of us here and in countries all over the world who are not happy with what is being imposed upon us.

Would it not make sense for us ( we the people ), as individuals who are facing the same things and who want to see a better future for all people (and our planet Earth) , to come together as one big voice instead of a few individual voices?

As such we can work together, share things with each other, unite as one, and shape our future and destiny together for everyone's benefit. If we turn to Nature to observe how the bees and ants work together for the good of each other, we can see the strength in this, and in appreciating the importance of every individual and the invaluable role they play within their community. As individuals we need to unite, come together and work together so that we can make our own decisions on what we want - and not have to comply to what they want for us and from us. We can do this with an assembly of people assembling and working together in their communities. I have found all these things (and seen the potential) as a member of Community Assembly of the British Isles (CABI) and our parallel network of the Assemblies of the World (AOW).

We are an assembly of people who have decided to turn their backs to the present system that seeks to impound us and impose control over us. This goes against our inalienable rights and freedoms that no one can take away from us.

We are saying *no" without any violence or protest We have formed local and county Community Assemblies right through the British isles, and the Assemblies of the World are doing the same in their countries. Having an assembly of connected people in our villages, towns, counties and localities across the British Isles has a great but maybe underestimated power. It is the power of ' we the people' that are a force together with an intent to make beneficial change.

This change is the change that you want to see for you, your friends, your family and loved ones.

This is a change driven by the people not as a hierarchy or government . Time is ticking, folks!

Every day that goes by our window of opportunity to make a difference gets smaller and smaller.

Please don't miss this opportunity and let it slip away. There won't be any more chances like this if you don't do it now. Think about it.

Do something about it. Get together with an assembly in your area or start a new one . Or you can ... Become a member of CABI and join us !

We are a Private Member's Association with no cost to you unless you choose to make a donation towards a specific project.

As a member you will become a part of CABI and our wider network with an invitation to join an existing assembly if or when there is one in your area. You will receive our fortnightly newsletter and regular updates about things going on here and overseas, and you will have access to a member-led framework providing knowledge, resources, experiences, support and services on offer.

Everyone is welcome and by joining you will be making a tangible and valued difference.

It's true to say that no-one can stop us now - the future is us!
