The Community Assembly of America represents an area streching between the Canadian and Mexican borders including various islands. Washington was established in 1790 by the Constitution of the United States to serve as the nation's capital.

It is believed the first inhabitants arrived 12,000 years ago in the first of three major waves of migration into North America bringing the ancestors of Athabaskans (North American Indians), Aleuts (Aleutian Islanders), and Eskimos (Inuit and Yupik who came from eastern Siberia). The Europeans arrived in 1513 on the eastern coast of North America forming the Virginia Colony in 1607 at Jamestown and the Pilgrims' colony at Plymouth in 1620.

Assemblies of the World are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
