The Community Assembly of Theddlethorpe St Helen or East Theddlethorpe is a village in the county of Lincolnshire. In the 1086 Domesday Book it is named as Teglagestorp possibly meaning 'outlying farmsteads or hamlet of a man called Theodlac'. Situated just 3 miles north of Mablethorpe on the North Sea coast, Saltby- Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve is of national importance due to being one of only five British Isles locations where the endangered Natterjack Toad (Epidalea Calamita) is found. The reserve consists of sea dunes as well as saltwater and freshwater marshes.
Theddlethorpe railway station opened in 1877 and was on the Louth and East Coast Railway. It closed in 1960 under the controversial Beeching Act.
