About this Assembly

The Community Assembly of London is located in the capital and largest city of England with a population of just under 9 million.

London stands on the River Thames in south-east England at the head of a 50-mile estuary down to the North Sea, and has been a major settlement for two millennia. The city was founded by the Romans and named Londinium. To this day, London still retains boundaries close to its medieval origins.
