About this Assembly
The Community Assembly of Roseland (Cornish: Rhos or Rôs, meaning heath) is located on the Roseland Peninsula which is a district of west Cornwall which is part of the Kernow Territory.
Roseland is located in the south of Cornwall and contains the town of St Mawes and villages such as St Just and Gerrans.
Roseland is a peninsula, separated from the remainder of Kernow by the River Fal. The original Cornish name was Eglos-rôs but was renamed Roseland by English settlers around the 10th century.
